Accessibility has also been considered with a main level master bedroom with an attached bath and laundry area. Board games and books are also provided should you need an indoor activity to pass the time on a rainy day. The main level deck offers a table with seating as well as a gas grill and corn hole. The upper deck is where you can find a lot of sun, chaise lounges and views of the resort amenities and Lake Kai. Take a ride on the complementary golf cart to the boardwalk just minutes away from the beach. PARKING 2 parking spaces along the street in front of the house, please do not park in front of the neighbor’s house, all cars must be tagged with a parking pass. Nearby overflow parking available for additional cars. HOUSE RULES -No smoking or vaping indoors -No pets -No PARTIES -No Prom Parties -No Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties -No fireworks -Must be 25 years old and present for the duration of the stay to reserve. This house had the perfect layout for 4 generations to enjoy! Everything was exactly as stated online but the pictures don’t do it justice. Very comfortable and convenient. Only issue would be upstairs showers are very small with low ceilings otherwise it’s awesome. We already booked for next year.

You can’t beat the location. Right next to the pool and most of the amenities. Beach is pretty walkable as well. Kitchen is open with lots of seating for a big group. Two of the four bedrooms have only bunk beds, so my husband and I had to sleep on those. Wish there was one more queen sized bed in the house.

Our rental was in the perfect location and incredibly clean. The staff were easy to get ahold of as well. Many amenities right next to the house making this vacation spot a wonderful place for families to visit. There were many towels provided which was helpful and laundry detergent was available with the rental for washing as well. Over all fantastic stay and I did not have one complaint!

We love our time at Barbie's Dreamhouse, this year was particularly good with the new clubhouse behind us. Love the location! Having the clubhouse deck so close for a quick coffee run or ice cream was perfection! It also gives the kids a little freedom because you can see them from the back porch. Love being so close to the pool and the new boardwalk along Lake Kai. Love this house!

Great home! I wish someone had told us the coffee shop was being torn down. One staff member was quite rude to my mother as well. Otherwise the location was perfect: 20 minutes to the State Park and 5 minutes to the zoo. The community is beautiful. We enjoyed the poo, free music, easy walk to the dunes

We enjoyed our stay at Barbie’s Dreamhouse. The location was extremely convenient to all neighborhood activities and amenities as well as to the beach access. We enjoyed the convenience of the golf cart! The kitchen had everything we needed. Although the house was perfect for our clan, I have a few recommendations.1. The trundle in the upstairs bedroom is very uncomfortable. Not sure if a mattress toppper or a new mattress is in order. 2. The upstairs bathrooms had shower curtains. The rings were broken and it was difficult to keep curtain in the shower due to small spacing. 3. The remote controls needed batteries, which I supplied, so no biggie. Might be good to double check that the remotes work.4. The master bedroom could use a clock.5. When we arrived the master toilet had not been flushed. 6. There were toys and paper towels under ottoman in family room and stuffed in couch cushions. I think this is a cleaning issue and not a reflection of the quality of the house.7. Outdoor table was filthy and greasy. I cleaned upon arrival.Please don’t take these recommendation as a negative if the property, just as possible places for improvement. We loved the house and it suited our group of mostly teens perfectly. Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful family visit. We enjoyed the pool, the quiet streets so the kids could ride bikes, the playground, the Fri evening concert. We really put to use the golf cart that was included in our rental. We do struggle with getting over the dune to the beach. We have seen other accesses have the blue mats that seem to help with this walk. We would love to see this at Beachwalk’s access!!!

Truly this house checked all the boxes for us with a few comments that can be fixed easily. Location was great even though I was worried about noise from the pool and being on Main Street, we weren’t bothered at all. The beds and rooms were great. The bathrooms worked well except the drains need to be cleaned ASAP. I had to pick out hair that was embedded in the first floor bedroom and my kids mentioned same issue in another bathroom upstairs. The kitchen is really nice and spacious but when we arrived the sink was cracked (seriously broken but repaired-ish) yet still it seems very unsanitary ( replacing the sink should be a top priority ). Also the description of the kitchen included “chefs Kitchen” yet there the tools one normally would use things like spatulas were missing. Please don’t think this is a negative review it’s not, overall we had a wonderful time. I just think these few comments need to be attended to and all will be wonderful.

Wow! I grew up 30 min from Michigan City & had no idea this adorable beach neighborhood existed. The location was perfect - and just a short 5 min walk to the beach. The golf cart was an added bonus & was fun to cruise around the resort in. The house had everything we needed and we had more than enough space for 8 teenage girls & 2 adults. When I initially booked I was nervous that the living room would be too small but we barely used it and didn't turn the tv on in there one time. The master BR is gorgeous. The bedrooms were spacious & the full size bunks were perfect. The upper deck is a great place to have morning coffee & sunbathe. The beach had ample space & wasn't crowded. All of my interactions with the office were pleasant as well. The girls can't wait to go back!
