Beautiful cottage and accommodations! Close to the beach and a nice community pool on the property. The houses are rather close and there isn't a lot of room in the community to take a leisurely stroll. But overall I would highly recommend booking especially for a large gathering with friends or family.

This house is so beautiful and well stocked. I've never stayed in a rental with so much usable kitchen utensils, appliances, etc. Great location. Use of the golf cart was amazing. The house is perfectly situated for our 2 families to have suites connected by a bathroom but private from the other group. Common spaces were perfectly sized and well decorated. Felt like a comfortable home!

It was our daughters wedding and we needed a place big enough for hair and make up for the bridal party. Jodi’s home was absolutely perfect. We had seven bridesmaids, getting ready with hair and make up at the same time at her 20 foot kitchen table! Our family along with out-of-town guests stayed in the home and its open concept main level was perfect for entertaining and being together. Jodi has thought of everything to stock the house. It was clean and worked perfectly for our get together. we also rented the cozy cottage in front for our extended family and it was so convenient. Our family rented 3 other homes in Beachwalk this same weekend and although they were all nice The Cottage was just perfect for our needs. Jodi is very responsive to needs and requests. We will definitely be back!

This was a very clean spacious house. The listing was accurate and the stay came with lots of extras. This community had great amenities and I had a positive experience with everyone. Location was great and we loved having the golf cart.

Where do I start?? This is one of the best rentals I've every stayed in. This house was perfect for a large group. We had 8 ladies and there was plenty of room for all of us. The location is ideal. Close to shopping, casino, the beach, and lots of restaurants. The house is clean and equipped with everything you need. We will definitely be back!!!! Thank you for a great stay.

My family stayed in this beautiful home for five nights in early August. It was clean, updated, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinners and the family room area was nice and cozy. It's a short walk to the lake, the pool and the clubhouse. There's a lot to do here and everyone is very friendly. Lots of trees and it was fun using the golf cart! All in all, this was a very welcome surprise, staying in this lake community and finding such a welcoming home to rent. Thank you, Jodi!

This is our second stay in Beachwalk and our first in this home. The home is well-equipped, comfortable, inviting and nicely decorated. Our group really enjoyed the games (especially bags), having coffee on the front porch and using the golf cart, which made it so much easier to get my elderly father around. The beds were also comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillows, blankets and towels.
We only had a couple things that made it less than perfect. First, the power was out from check-in time to 11 pm the first night. This was stressful with 4 kids and my dad, who needs to have his medications refrigerated. It made it very difficult to see around the house, make dinner, etc. Jodi was responsive when we reached out and reassured us the electric company was doing their best. While it was an act of nature, we did felt like a few things could have been handled better, like having more than 1 flashlight in the home, offering to bring ice, being a bit more empathetic or even issuing a small credit would’ve been a nice gesture since we couldn’t use any of the home’s amenities the first night. The second thing was that the neighborhood maintenance treated the lake on a Fri and said it wouldn’t be open for activities until Sun (when we were leaving), so the kids were all disappointed that they couldn’t go kayaking, peddle boating, etc. Lastly, the home was very clean overall, but we all noticed the floors were pretty dirty.

Enjoyed our stay
We all really enjoyed our stay here. The process was easy to check in and out. Plenary of room for the 7 of us. We loved the screened in porch and rocking chairs. The golf cart was used daily to get to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

This home accommodated 3 small families perfectly. The space was very adequate for 8 people. The resort community was perfect for all ages and interests. This location was a short walk to the beach with gorgeous sunsets. The host was super friendly, responsive and accommodating. We would book here again in a heartbeat.

Our first beach vacation
This was our first family vacation with our boys 4 & 5. They loved the house, the pool, the beach, and the golf cart. Everything was so close and easily accessible. The beach walk community is adorable and beautifully maintained. The house was perfect. The rooms were extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We would absolutely stay again!

Fun getaway
This property is just as nice as the photos, if not better. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend, and the huge table with seating for 10 meant we had plenty of room for folks and food! The open floor plan allowed everyone to be included in conversation, whether they were cooking, eating or watching football. The fireplace made the room very cozy. The rooms are nice, the house is very clean and we were impressed at how well-stocked everything was. We made a ton of food, and there was a dish, tray, pan or utensil for everything. There were a lot of board games and movies too. We made the short trek to the local field for football and basketball, but it was too cold to stay long. It would be the perfection location for summer though. The owners are great with communication and check in was incredibly easy. We would definitely go back!

Fun family time
This property worked out well for our family. We had 3 families in the house with 4 grand children from 2 - 11. The vacation was all about the kids having fun and they did. The access to the Michigan Lake beach was great. The golf cart was a big hit for getting back and forth to the beach and the kids liked going for rides around the resort. The wide open first floor and large dining table(s) let us interact easily. The house was clean overall, only comment is that the floor could have been 'washed' a little better which is why I gave the 4 star rating. The resort is geared towards kids and families having fun swimming and playing, it isn't a quiet and calm sort of place you go for peace and quiet. I would recommend this house to anyone with kids looking for a FUN packed vacation.

We are so grateful Jodi and her family open up their home to us each year…our kids talk about it all year round - wanting to know when we are going back!
