The dried-out pieces of wood you find on the beach hardened by water and wind, lightened by the sun are an essential part of the Beach as is Irish Eyes. BEDROOM and BATHROOM SET UP Main Level Bedroom 1: Queen with Attached Bath Bedroom 2: Two Twin over Twin Bunk Beds Bedroom 3: Queen Bath 1: Attached to Bedroom 1 Bath 2: Standalone with Walk in Shower Second Floor Bedroom 4: King with Daybed and Trundle Attached Bath Bath 3: Attached to Bedroom 4 INDOOR GATHERING SPACE Enter the cottage from your front porch into the great room with an inviting, overstuffed sectional sofa with an additional chair by the window to read your book selection of the day on or to enjoy a movie on the flat screen TV. There is a work desk provided in the living room as well should you need to have a space to answer emails or maybe write in your journal. The kitchen has a beautiful farmhouse style table that seats 8 and an additional bar counter that also seats 4. With stainless steel appliances and a beautiful tiles backsplash, this kitchen is a cook’s dream. Take the open airy staircase upstairs to the fresh and inviting charm of the bedrooms that all have must have views. A stacked washer and dryer for your use during your stay. Upstairs is where you will enjoy the wall of windows and French doors leading out onto the screened in porch overlooking Lake Kai. It’s strongly recommended for cricket concerts you are likely to hear in the evening; keep your eyes peeled for lighting bugs. OUTDOOR GATHERING SPACE For your outside time, enjoy the boardwalk along Lake Kai, known for some great catch and release fishing or just a place for you to get away from things for a while. Relax on the screened in porch overlooking Lake Kai or around the newly custom designed firepit and patio. HOUSE SPECIFIC AMENITIES Cable TV, Wi-Fi, Linen and Towels, Wagon, Gas Grill, Screened in Porch, Main Level Bedroom, Firepit, Custom Built patio and Seasonal Golf Cart. LOCATION Located in Beachwalk Resort on Lake Kai just a few doors down from the pool and resort amenities. PARKING 3 parking spaces, 2 in the driveway, one along the street off the road as much as possible. Near by overflow parking lot available. HOUSE RULES -No smoking or vaping indoors -No pets -No PARTIES -No Prom Parties -No Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties -No fireworks -Must be 25 years old and present for the duration of the stay to reserve. PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED Professionally managed means peace of mind during your stay. Front desk associates, housekeeping and maintenance staff are nearby should you need anything during your stay. It’s your vacation, we are here to ensure you enjoy it. RESORT AMENITIES AND INFO * indicates a seasonal amenity. 4ft heated pool*, toddler pool, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September. Irish Mist rents with a 7-night minimum with check-in and check-out on Saturday during peak season (mid-June to mid-August).

We stayed here for a long weekend, with 6 adults and 4 kids (ages 2-6), and it was PERFECT!! Plenty of space for us all to spread out, and the open plan layout of the kitchen and living room (and the full view out back of the beach) made it super easy for everyone to exist in the same space. We loved that there were 2 wagons to use for pulling supplies to the main beach, and being able to use the golf cart was such a fun feature for the kids.

We loved Irish spring. It’s the perfect location and size for us! It’s located near the fishing pier, and lake Kai where our children spend a lot of time. We have 6 kids ranging from 6 months to 12 years and each of them had more then enough space to sleep. The kitchen and living room were open and great to hang out in. Right before our stay the owner allowed the golf cart to be included, which was wonderful! We had one rented but that allowed us to cancel.

Irish Mist was very nice, clean, had wonderful views of lake Kai, 1 min walk to the coffee shop, a slightly longer walk to the main beach but worth it for the amenities and views this property has to offer. Only recommendation I have is letting the renters use the golf cart to make the beach trips a little easier. Other than that, amazing stay!

Everything was great except for 2 issues. The back door wouldn't lock. It needs to be adjusted. There was oven cleaner left in the oven, which we found after turning it on. It had to be wiped out hot because it was delaying our dinner plans.

The house is the best one at the Beachwalk - perfect location - great view and lovely home. We had a great time and loved being at our family's "Happy Place" for a family vacation! Wish Irish Mist provided beach chairs and rented their golf cart but no complaints about the house - it was wonderful!

We just concluded our fourth straight year at Irish Mist. It was the perfect set up for our family group of six adults and five children. Its location right on Lake Kai was perfect as all of our grandchildren love to fish. It’s location just a few feet from the pool, splash pad, and clubhouse was ideal. Our biggest disappointment is that it’s already rented for next year during the time period that we can come to Beachwalk.

One of the best vacations!
Our young family 3 kids (6,4,3) had an amazing time at this property. I honestly think the pictures don’t do it’s location justice. One of the most important things about this property is it’s located with a sand beach as a backyard. It’s the prime location in distance to the community pool and coffee/donut shop and dock/boardwalk. We actually were so pleased with the location, we only went to Lake Michigan twice. If your looking for a relaxing spot with little or no need to drive..this is it. House was plenty big for our needs and we plan to be back again. I’m not big on taking my time to write detailed reviews, but it was worth it.

We have been visiting Beachwalk with our grandchildren every few years for 15 years. This was our 6th stay at Beachwalk and our 2nd stay at Irish Mist. We love Irish Mist. We love sitting on the back porch looking out at Lake Kai. The bedroom situations suit our family perfectly. The kitchen is nicely supplied with everything we need for the week. No complaints from any of us...only complements. Our grandchildren are older now and moving into adulthood but still talk about wanting to come back. Win...Win!
