We loved our stay and appreciate the hosts.

Right across the bridge from the ski resort. It was about a 5 minute walk. Our room was clean and facing the mountain. Didn't realize we didn't book a room with a private toilet but the shared facilities were clean and never busy. They had a blowdryer and my daughter loved the hot pool in the bath area.

The pillows were a little hard for my taste but I think that is the standard in Japan, and I'm just not used to it.
