No Positives, Very Poor Experience

No Positives, Very Poor Experience！

This was the worst accommodation I have ever booked through Booking. On the first day, when the temperature was below freezing, we experienced about five hours without electricity, heating, or hot water starting in the evening. This created extremely uncomfortable and unsafe living conditions. My mother (almost 70 years old) and my daughter (8 years old) both caught colds as a result. The issue was not resolved until after 10:00 PM. I was forced to find another, very expensive accommodation for one night. The next day, we returned to the original property, and the host agreed to refund the first night. Unfortunately, on the last night, the problem happened again. While my mother was in the middle of a shower, the hot water suddenly stopped, and there was no heating in the room. Her illness became worse again. The host guided me via video call to restart the water heater and claimed that I had touched a switch, which I found unreasonable, as guests are never informed about such technical details. I reported this to the Booking support team. The final solution offered was a refund of €108, even though the booked price was €132 per night. I eventually agreed to a one-night refund, but in the end, I actually received only €100.43. I am not writing this review to argue about the refund anymore, but to share my real experience with future guests. You have the right to choose. Perhaps this was an isolated case and may not happen to everyone, but I believe it is important to be aware of what could happen. Good luck.

Weekend fantastico
