We stayed three nights at “Gita a Tindari” mid of October 2026 in the top floor apartment. Included in the price is the use of the sunny roof terrace with view on the village and the Tindary Basilica. Fabio warmly welcomed us, showed us the flat and its features and was around the clock available over whatsapp if we had any questions. There is no breakfast included in the rent but Fabio provides you with a 15% discount voucher for drinks and food you consume in the “Feel Cafè”, 50m away from the flat. Although the apartment is located in the centre of the village, it is surprisingly quiet after 10pm and there are lots of car parking possibilities (at least in low season) around the house. The apartment itself is fully equipped (washing machine, dishwasher, outdoor cloth drying rack, …) and has two sleeping rooms with good beds. There are two sets of keys available and WiFi is free but reception on the roof terrace is poor.
For small and fresh supplies there are some local stores, bigger supermarkets in Falcone (3km) are more helpful for longer shopping lists. A very good restaurant in the neighbourhood is “Donna Rosa”. The beach front is at 3 minutes with the car. The archeologic site in Tindari with nice view point on the Linguetta (natural reserve) can be reached on foot from Oliveri beach in less than 1h following a well-marked uphill track (Passo di Volpe). When using the highway entrance in Falcone, you can reach from Oliveri the Milazzo ferry terminal in 30 minutes, ideal for a day trip to one or more Eolie islands.

A beautifully decorated apartment with a wonderful local atmosphere. It was spacious for our group of 4 adults (though it can accommodate up to 7). The main bedroom has a large double bed and a single bed that worked great as a sofa, and the second bedroom features a double bunk bed. Both bedrooms open onto a lovely balcony.
The bathroom is very spacious and comfortable, and the towels and bed linens were high quality and soft. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a stove, dishwasher and a washing machine. A huge bonus is the building's rooftop terrace on the third floor, which offers amazing views of the surroundings and nice seating areas.
Location-wise, there is plenty of street parking right near the entrance, and a supermarket and bakery are just a 2-minute walk away. It was also very convenient for our boat trip, as Milazzo Port was only about a 20-minute drive. Above all, the host went above and beyond to show us around, explain all the amenities, and make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our time here!

If available, simply book it. The location Oliveri is a small village about 1 hours drive from Messina, where the ferry takes you from mainland Italy. The appartment is located very close to the center where restaurants are located, although the area itself is quiet. Parking is free in the street. The beach is within walking distance. Equipment of the appartment is perfect, you will find everything for a great holiday. It is also very clean. Your host will be Fabio, a friendly Gent who will give you great advices, contact is without issues using Whatsapp. We had a lovely stay there, and would return any time.
