About this house rental
Bella Vista is your picturesque cabin vacation located on over 90 private acres in Virginia's Piedmont region. It is situated amongst rolling hills, mature forest, streams, and miles of hiking trails exploring the property. Bella Vista is truly the perfect place to relax and unwind over a half mile from any road.
Our guests enjoy the cleanliness and comfort of the house, the privacy of location, the easy access to nature, and the local historical attractions.
The Space:
Bella Vista is comfortably furnished for a relaxing stay. There are two roomy bedrooms and one shared bath. Enjoy the sunrise from the timber frame patio, rock on the front porch, immerse yourself in a book next to the gas fireplace, or simply sit and enjoy watching the wildlife. Spend time cooking in the well-stocked kitchen or dine out and enjoy the local flavors! After a day of enjoying the historical area, soak your cares away in the spa or kick up your feet around the fire pit. If you feel like exploring, there are several easy walking trails through the surrounding forest and along the streams.
Bella Vista is located within minutes of the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park and other historical landmarks. We are 20 minutes from Holliday Lake State Park which offers hiking trails, swimming, boating, and fishing. We are 30 minutes from the beautiful city of Lynchburg, home of Liberty University. We are also 30 minutes from the lovely town of Farmville, home of Longwood University, Hampden-Sydney College, Green Front Furniture, the High Bridge Trail State Park, and The Fishin' Pig, the best barbeque in Virginia!
Other things to note:
High-speed internet access is provided via Starlink.
Each TV has an Amazon Fire TV Stick.
There is excellent cell phone signal through Verizon Wireless.

Not only was Bella Vista lovely inside and out, but clean and well equipped! We made use of the games, books, and coloring books. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare basic meals: cooking oil, spices, cookware, etc. We were delighted to find firewood as well. The kids loved the spacious yard where they played baseball and the hiking trail through the woods was so peaceful. The host was also very responsive and settled an issue for us within minutes. I could go on and on, we just loved this place and hope to return!

Bells Vista is spotless inside and out.Beautiful decor.Donna was very quick to answer questions and always responded. The hot tub is amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked. Everything you need and she left snacks on the table.We loved it! Beautiful place to get away.

Bella Vista was an excellent property to stay at for a family Thanksgiving retreat. The land is beautiful and the trails around the property were fun to explore. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The host even reached out to us to recommend a small local market. We would happily stay again!
