Wir waren ganz begeistert von der Villa Palma. Auf einem großen, ruhigen und sehr sicheren Gelände mit Zugang zum einsamen und schönen Strand haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und erholt.
Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und wurden von Aisha hervorragend versorgt. Neben dem Frühstück, welches aus Pfannkuchen, Toast, Eierspeisen nach Wahl sowie frischen Obst bestand, konnten wir wahlweise ein Mittagessen oder Abendessen ordern. Alles sehr lecker.
Ohmir kümmert sich mit vollem Engagement um den Garten, der sehr gepflegt wird und in dem es Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten gibt. Er spricht gutes Englisch und hat sich auch Grundkenntnisse in Italienisch und deutsch angeeignet und ist sehr netter und informativer Zeitgenosse, der viel weiß und rund um die Uhr im Nachbargebäude lebt. Er säubert auch den Strandabschnitt vor dem Haus und reinigt täglich die beiden Fußwaschbecken vor der Terrasse. Dort sind auch zwei Außenduschen. Ohmir erntet auf Wunsch auch Kokosnüsse, die voller Kokosmilch sind. Ohmir ist das Herz des Hauses.
Nachts kommt Jacobo zur Nachtwache.
Alles ist sehr sauber und wird täglich gereinigt und die Betten gemacht. Die Putzdame macht auf Wunsch und gegen Bezahlung auch die Kleiderwäsche, wenn die Waschmaschine nicht funktioniert, wie es bei uns leider der Fall war.
Das Haus ist geräumig und hat vier Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Badezimmer. Zwei Zimmer mit Doppelbett und zwei jeweils mit zwei Einzelbetten. Alle Fenster der Schlaf- und Badezimmer sind mit Fliegendrähten versehen und zudem haben alle Betten Moskitonetze. Das ist auch nötig, weil viele Mücken auch in der Trockenzeit vorhanden sind.
Zum Ort Ushongo kann man schön am Strand entlang etwa 10-15 Minuten spazieren. Dort wird in zwei Restaurants mit Bar gutes Essen angeboten. Im Ort gibt es kleine Shops für Getränke, Obst und Gemüse.
Wenn wir nochmal nach Ushongo kommen, dann zu Ohmir und Aisha in die Villa Palma. Es war toll. Vielen Dank!

Amazing location, very peaceful. Lots of space for a family or larger group. Very kind staff. The house is very spacious and private as you cannot see it from the public beach. It has a small private beach overlooking the ocean which we enjoyed a lot. We truly loved our stay at Villa Palma and definitely plan on coming back.
Almost no network within the house (although this is great if you really do want some time away from everything). The shower fittings were loose and not well maintained, not all rooms had a key (we were told previous guests left with them. No shops close by (though this is mentioned by the owner!) so I recommend bringing enough food / drinks as there is a fridge and lots of storage space.

The compound was amazing. Breakfast was heavy and delicious. Amazing proximity to the beach. Spacious rooms and amazing staff.

we had a very calm and relaxing stay with direct and private access to the beach. Omari the housekeeper was very caring and nice to be around.
the amount of food was a little bit short. there are no real possibiilties to get groceries, but you can ask the landlady to buy groceries during her way to work and to cook it for you. She’s very nice. It’s just important to emphasise the amount, when you are a large group.
