Location great, close to west end and Southbank. Great view from deck and kitchen. Plenty of food provided for breakfast, tea and coffee.
Things are a bit tired, and could be improved so rasily. For instance only 2 of the deck chairs are usable on the nice back deck, maybe just replace the lot. The room would benefit from a towel hook, and rack that's broken in the bathroom etc. Otherwise it was a decent quiet place to rest.

The location was inconvenient for me, since the hostel is at the top of a hill and I have mobility issues. I had to spend money on Ubers while I was staying there. However, if you are fit and if you like a pleasant leafy street in a good neighbourhood, the location is probably fine. The kitchen was well supplied, there were enough bathrooms, there was a comfortable lounge, the staff (i.e. the cleaner) was friendly, the other people staying there were nice, and the room had what we needed, so we were very happy.
See above (location). There is no bus nearby.

It was cheap and it was convenient. The bed was comfortable
In the morning, when i opened my room I could smell cigarette smoke. There was definitely someone smoking in the rooms. My key didn't open the front door. Thankfully there was someone available to let me into the main house at 2am!
