- The house was warm, with no issues regarding hot water.
- We found a bottle of wine in the refrigerator.
- The washing machine worked well.
- The lower bedroom had a comfortable bed.
- The bed linen and towels were clean
- It was quiet and peaceful.
- The older man who welcomed us was friendly.
I actually think that this property would appeal to lovers of authentic, old country homes, but probably it was too “rustic” for us.
- The property was not clean enough. It was not too bad but the carpet on the top floor was very dirty, and we found stains on the toilet and bidet.
- The “double bed” in the upper room is actually uncomfortable two single mesh base beds with a chip spring and very outdated mattresses .
- There was a strong unpleasant odor in that room.
- The layout of the apartment was quite strange, with the kitchen on the lower level and bedrooms with bathroom in each on the second and third floors. The staircase connecting these areas was a brutalist concrete stairwell like from an old multi apartment building, not cosy at all and it is hard to say how and when it was cleaned.
- When I reported these issues to the manager, she called us "bad people," which was shocking. I believe the owner had to change managing company who is being rude with clients.
- This is not a detached building or house, it is an appartment as an entrance of a raw house.
- to turn on dishwasher, you have to firstly turn off the water heater , otherwise electricity in the whole house turns off.
This is the first negative review I’ve felt compelled to write in years. I think future guests deserve to know what they might face, as the photos do not reflect the reality.
