Convenient property. Get an upstairs room if possible since you can hear people walking upstairs and talking. Price is reasonable so it gets 5 stars overall. Stayed here many years ago when they first opened. No breakfast due to COVID changes. Good wifi internet. Stairs are somewhat steep so not good if you have any disabilities.

Nice apartment for a overnight stay in Upington, service could habe been better, whenever we used the bell to call the guesthouse team nobody answered

Stayed at Lions Rest several times before. Convenient place to stay when arriving in Upington to go to Kalahari. Family run - very friendly. Fixtures and fittings are getting a bit 'tired' and in need of refreshing.
