Breakfast and AC were great but no working ice machine on the property was a bummer

Hotel was convenient to both Hwy281 and Loop1604 on San Antonio's North Side. Our room was spacious, confortable, and had great temperature control. We we both astounded that the bath had no face cloths or hand towels--which I secured from one of the room cleaners who apologized for one of the hotel's washers being broken. Surprising as well was the overhead makeup fixture
which was either inoperable or needed bulbs. As mentioned in check-in review--I personally tightened the toilet seat that appeared to have been replaced, but never secured properly--certainly a first for this traveler! The last and strangest surprise was that housekeeping either did not have access to king size sheets or attempted to make our bed by attempting to fit the mattress in the wrong direction? In any event, we would not return to this hotel--too many small missteps that indicate a systemic issue that hopefully is limited to this location and not the brand--no axe to grind, just being as honest as possible.
