Easy walk from train station. 10 minute walk to main town square

Nice lower cost hotel in central Munich. It was just between the main train station and core city center. We were with our teenage daughter and the shower (typical shower with glass doors) was open to the entry hall part of the room. The sink and vanity was also open to the room. Only the small room with the toilet had a proper privacy door. So it wouldn’t be a big deal for a single person or couple, but lacked a bit of privacy for a family with older children sharing the room.
There were restaurants, business, and a tram line on the street so even though it would have been nice to open the windows, it was quite noisy on the street below. But the room had AC and the windows provided great sound insulation for the street noise. So no issues sleeping at all.
We arrived and departed by train which was just 2-3 blocks away. We also rented a car for a day and there are numerous rental car agencies within a few blocks. We wanted a car for Sunday and found that only Europcar was open for pickup and drop off on Sunday. But that worked out well so we didn’t have to park in the city. The Marianplatz was 10-15 min walk and it was about twice that to the Munich Residence Palace or the English Garden park.
Staff wasn’t super friendly, but not a big deal. I think they were just all business and light on personality.

Stayed here for two nights. This is a small clean room with air conditioning close to the hbf train station shopping and restaurants. Can't comment on breakfast because we did not have it. However, if a washcloth, a glass , a coffee pot in room safe, ice, refrigerator is important to you. You might want to rethink this place
