My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Mountain View Motel & Cottages in Pleasant Bay. The location is fantastic, offering beautiful views and easy access to Cape Breton Highlands National Park, hiking trails, whale watching, and the scenic Cabot Trail. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the peaceful surroundings after a day of exploring. The staff đź‘Ť were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
There was very little to dislike. The property is more rustic than a modern hotel, but that fits perfectly with the charm and character of Pleasant Bay. Guests looking for a luxury resort experience should keep that in mind.

The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We had a great breakfast in the restaurant in the morning and the staff were friendly and made time for conversation.

The room was clean, spacious and we were given lots of towels (we beach buns needed them!) The staff were great and the breakfast was so good and a great price. The hummingbirds at the restaurant's windows were incredible to watch, we will absolutely be back!!!
