The best part of staying at the Fairfield was the very hospitable staff. Requests for assistance (more towels, direction to restaurants and the River Walk) were met with friendly demeanor.
Breakfast was the usual "free" fare: sausage, crumbly eggs, waffles, breads, cereal, etc.
I didnt use their parking, which was by valet only. I parked elsewhere, which was cheaper and offered self parking with in-and-out privileges.
Good location. Walkable to the River Walk, Alamo, River Center Mall, convention center and other attractions.

We had a great stay. No complaints at all. The staff was great from the valet workers to the hotel staff. They made check in and check out so easy. I honestly did love that they have valet service. We were only there for one night so I can’t comment on the amenities but we did see the swimming pool and it was very clean.
The breakfast was good as well. It’s your usual continental breakfast but they also offered diced sausage and potatoes with bell pepper as well as scrambled eggs.
The rooms are nice and clean. I love how close this location is to the Riverwalk. We were there for the MCR concert so we loved the proximity to the Alamodome. It was about a 20 min walk from the hotel. San Antonio PD did great directing traffic and making sure people were able to cross the street safely. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
