Mauro and his family and staff made the stay at the castle one of our favorite places during the whole vacation in Tuscany. Great location right near restaurants. Their wines along with breakfast and cappuccino every morning was awesome! We would highly recommend.

The check-in was a problem. Initially no one was there for check-in and we had to just sit and wait at 2:45 PM. Once someone arrived the individual had the personality of a blank sheet of paper and provided about as much information. There was no restaurant and initially the entire castle was locked down. We drove off site to have dinner. The room was pretty big, but the bathroom had the smallest shower ever, and that includes the one on my destroyer in the US Navy! The room itself was also NOT in the castle itself. I would not recommend a stay here.
