We liked the size of the room, and it had a full kitchen we didn’t use since we only stayed for 1 night. The check in process is a little difficult, but didn’t take too long. All of the lights were off in the building when we arrived so we walked up the stairs using the flashlights on our phones. We were told to leave our keys in the room when we checked out, but 5 minutes before checkout time a lady, who we assume was the cleaner, came banging on the door demanding we get out and give her the key. That has lowered my rating for this stay.
Overall, it is a good location for seeing Trieste!

If you arrive early and need to store luggage go to Casali hostel- sister accommodation.
Our apartment was large,clean and 5 mins walk to railway station and less to seafront promenade. Excellent value.
