Very nice hotel, lots of charm and the location on the island is great - peaceful and quiet while in easy reach of the key attractions. Spacious room, lots of light.
Breakfast is very nice, right amount of options & everything is high quality. Would definitely stay again

The hotel is in an odd location that is both very central and slightly off the beaten path. Everything is at least 15 minutes away but nothing is really far. From the island you have views of the other parts of the city in all directions. The island is well connected to the Gamla Stan and Djurgarden by boat, and to the train station by bus, but there aren't a lot of amenities on the island itself.
The rooms had excellent light, were spotless and spacious. Good breakfast. The buildings are historic but there is something odd about feeling like you are in a boutique hotel when you are in your room, and l feeling that you are in a navy barracks when you step into the hall. The island is peaceful and quiet with one caveat: the noise from the Gröna Lund amusement park sometimes carries over to the island, but this is only until 10pm.
