A great hotel close to everything you need within Florence. Beautiful rooftop pool (which is rare) and bar with great views. Staff were really attentive and breakfast was good. Highly recommend this hotel

Staff was excellent, ac was great, water pressure awesome and breakfast had loads of yummy options but the cleanliness wasn’t great this time. I stayed 2 years ago and it was super clean but it needs a good deep clean, the washrooms by the breakfast room were gross and my room was very dusty. Bed is firm and pillows aren’t what I’m used to in North America but it’s typical for Europe. I would stay again as the staff knocked it out of the park, rooftop pool was great and they left me a gift and hand written note for being a repeat customer which is five star classy.

We had a great stay at Hotel Glance! The location in historical Florence is unbeatable—just steps away from Mercato Centrale, San Lorenzo Market, delicious eateries, and major museums and attractions. The rooftop pool and bar were top-notch, and the complimentary breakfast was always fresh and delicious. We also loved that the staff could book taxis in advance for our arrivals and excursions.
The only drawback was getting back to the hotel after a night out. Finding a taxi took over 40 minutes, and calling the provided cab numbers resulted in frequent disconnects and canceled rides, which was quite stressful for travelers unfamiliar with the area. More assistance or guidance on late-night transit would be a huge help. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!
