Room was large and well cleaned, it came with a sticked kitchenette. The hotel has a nice restaurant in site with outdoor seating overlooking the French Broad River. The hotel was like a museum for the original jail with information on display. The room we stayed in had several original features of the old jail.

The hotel lived up to the hype! Historical details were everywhere. We stayed in the Back Street Suite, and you couldn't help but notice the thought put into every detail of the room. The room was clean, the sheets were soft, the pottery in the room was beautiful, and the toiletries provided were top notch. Marshall is a beautiful small town, and the residents were very welcoming. The only downside was that my sister and I could only stay one night. I will stay at the Old Marshall Jail Hotel again!
