About this cottage rental
Enjoy a peaceful waterfront stay on all-sports Big Barbee Lake, with the water less than 10 steps from the door. This pet-friendly, step-free, single-level home sleeps up to 6 guests and is designed for easy lake days, beautiful sunsets, and relaxing evenings.
The home has two queen bedrooms plus a den with a small double bed. An air mattress is available upon request for added sleeping flexibility, but maximum occupancy remains 6. Inside, you'll find a spacious kitchen and dining area, central air, fast Wi-Fi, comfortable furnishings, quality linens, extra towels, and a dedicated laundry room.
Outside, enjoy the oversized deck, large yard, Polywood seating, Weber gas grill, and a lakefront firepit with firewood provided. Two kayaks and a lily pad floating mat are included for exploring and enjoying the water.
Guests have private access to the entire home, lakefront yard, deck, firepit, private pier, and marked seawall area. The sheds are not included. A limited selection of life jackets is provided, so please bring properly fitted life jackets, especially for children.
Up to two dogs or cats are welcome. The pet fee is $100 per pet, per stay.
The long driveway has room for multiple vehicles and trailers. Nearby favorites include Danny's Sports Bar for Chicago-style pizza, Lake Life Restaurant for waterfront dining, and Wake & Lake for ice cream and lake essentials.
A Bennington pontoon and golf cart are available exclusively to overnight guests for an additional charge. Each can be rented by the day, with discounts available for multi-day and combined rentals.
Please note that the home uses well water, which may occasionally have a mild odor despite the newer water softener; bottled water is provided. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM, loud gatherings are not permitted, and smoking is allowed outside only.

The check in process was very convenient, and the host was very responsive. The property is in a great spot on big barbee, and has the perfect yard to have a bonfire or enjoy games and music on the deck. We appreciate that he provided firewood as well.

Super place to stay. Very comfortable, just walk out back sliding door lake right there, nice patio set to sit at, firepit. one of the nicest and cleanest places weve stayed at. Missed having a toaster there though
