Something you should know about Lampedusa is that you need a car to get around the island. Walking is almost impossible because there are no sidewalks and it is difficult under the sun (even in September). Giuseppe helps connect you to people who can pick you up at the airport and get you a car. He’s very helpful! I would recommend securing this prior to coming to the island When the car rental gave us a small electric dolce vita to travel around we had no way to charge it but Giuseppe gave us an extension cord to let us charge it from the house. Very generous. This is a quiet area and about 18 minutes walking (or 5 minutes driving) from places to eat. The beds were very comfortable and had about everything we needed for our 5 day stay.
Also rabbit beach is literally the best beach ever. Try to secure reservations ahead of time. If you can’t, waiting in line to be the first 50 without reservations is worth it. We would wait on Average 1-1.5 hrs and it was worth it every time. Also learn about the history of the island and their efforts to help migrants. Very moving!

La casa nuovissima e pulita, con spazi ampi e ben vivibili.
L'unica pecca che posso trovare è la posizione che obbliga necessariamente a spostarsi con un veicolo sia per raggiungere il mare che il centro abitato. A piedi la strada è un po' proibitiva.
