Well appointed, very tidy, authentic apartment. Small for 5+ people but very conveniently located.

A nice place with local feel and space

Spacious for two persons. Quiet street in a local residential part of town, just beneath the cemetry/temples mountain with great view of the city. Kitchenette for light meals. Nice with a balcony for light and fresh air (no furniture or much view though). Nice tatami area and a table for stuff. We liked Nagasaki very much, not very touristy.

We missed some mugs for a cup of tea or coffee 😉. The place is a self-service check-in. Works fine once you know the system with uploading passport-id etc., but a bit non-personnel. Our flat was 5th floor with only a narrow staircase. As no view from the flat (all window glasses were frosted), we did not get much benefit of the many steps to 5th floor..

Cheap and not so clean

Location is good. Price is great but wouldn’t book it again.

Clean on the first look but one realizes pretty quickly that it’s dirty. Also, we were 4 people and the way too large table on the tatami doesn’t allow to prep the 4 beds unless you fully block the entry to the bath. You can fold the legs of the table but it’s too unstable to but upright because it’s too heavy. Not a big problem but be prepared that it’s not a staircase but more of a ladder to get to the apartment.

It was fine for us but the steep stairs would make the floor we stayed on unsuitable for some people
