The only plus was proximity to Colonial Downs Racecourse. Really that was about it. Road is literally feet from stay. If your party rented one of the other buildings on the property it might work.
No shade at all so sitting outside was not possible. If you did decide to sit on the paved patio you were right beside the road. We had to keep the curtains closed the entire time we were inside the home to keep it cool enough to be comfortable. The sink is tiny and unusable practically. The bed was squeaky. The pillows were like you were staying in Bedrock. All of them save the skinny one I fetched from upstairs. There are beds for seven people we were four and had a hard time watching tv. No table at all to eat at. No lamps so overhead or none. The shower bathroom, ADA compliant (nice for disabled) but so cavernous it was uncomfortable to shower. Paint is peeling off bathroom window ledge, few places to hang used towel so inevitably it was still wet for next use. Basically a hotel room, which is nice if that is what you are looking for but we weren’t.
