About this house rental
There is no better place on the chain with better accomodations to watch the boats as they pass between the lakes than this prime waterfront location from this brilliant 3-bedroom home between North Webster, Syracuse, and Warsaw. This is no cottage, it is a year-around home that offers a comfortable stay right on the lakefront of Big Barbee, which is the largest and only ski lake on the chain of seven lakes. You are a stone's throw from Danny's Pizzaria and Bar, Barbee Hotel and Restaurant, and Lake Life Bar and Grill for convenient food, beer and cocktails to enjoy the lake atmosphere (no car necessary). If you are bringing your own boat, the pier has room for 2 more boats and WaveRunners (or Pontoon rental is an option). Everyone will find their perfect spot to unwind, whether it is lounging outside on the large deck with 8-person table and plenty of chairs, playing in the grassy side yard under a shady tree, dipping your toes in the cool water; or inside looking at the lake from the sunroom, gazing at the lake from the giant picture window in the living room, preparing a snack in the generous kitchen while looking out at the lake. Did we mention you can see the lake from nearly every window?! You won't give up the comforts of home because the house has air conditioning, WiFI, washer and dryer, and gas grill. End each night in one of the 3 bedrooms - the main level primary bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom and 2 upstairs bedrooms each with double/twin bunk beds.
Snacks and meals will be a joy to prepare in the well-appointed kitchen. Aside from the usual refrigerator, stove, and microwave, you will appreciate clean-up made easy by the whisper-quiet dishwasher. Enjoy morning coffee from the Keurig and keep extra drinks cold in the beverage fridge.
Ready to venture out? This property is within easy walking distance to three local restaurants, Barbee Hotel, Danny's Sports Bar and Pizzaria, and Lake Life.
Don't worry about extra packing - we have plenty of beach towels, a cooler, and life jackets for your use, as well as bath towels, paper products, and toiletries. For the kitchen feel free to use the Keurig, toaster, slow cooker, plates, bowls, cups, glassware, silverware, knives, pots and pans, cutting board, platters, kitchen utensils, basic spices, and cleaning supplies.
For those who want an extra adventure, an eight-passenger pontoon boat is available to rent at an extra fee. Just send an inquiry!

We thoroughly enjoy our mid-week stay on Big Barbee, with a small group of friends & family. We rented a pontoon from Socks Marina, for early morning fishing at Barbee & Irish Lake. The local restaurants were within walking distance. Thank you so much!
