Una estancia fantástica. El trato fue excepcional: muy amables, atentos y hospitalarios. Llegamos tarde por un retraso del taxi, nos esperaron y nos prepararon una cena increíble y deliciosa. La habitación, preciosa, impecable y muy silenciosa. Nos sentimos como en casa. Sin duda, volveremos.

Immerso nella foresta e alle falde del monte Meru. Personale gentilissimo. Stanza spaziosa con vista sulla foresta. Efficiente trasporto per l’aeroporto, anche se un po’ caro.
Cena non abbondante. Non semplicissimo da raggiungere in taxi.

The area and view is beautiful. The room was clean and well maintained. The working staff - waiters, driver - were very kind and hardworking.
The location is detached from Arusha outside of Bolt reach which would be great if it wasn't for restaurant poor quality of food and offer. It could really be a perfect escape resort if it was managed better. There were 3 times as much "office" workers as guests and couldn't even book a taxi to the airport. In short: very bad and selfish managers - the explanation follows.
When we wanted to leave they were surprised that we even want taxi - it was lost between the workers. Luckily they had a car on site so they could drive us, they put luggages to the car and only then mentioned the price - for 2-3 times more than Bolt from Arusha centre (10-15 min drive from Samora River Lodge) to Kilimanjaro airport. The managers clearly wanted to avoid giving us the price the day before (we asked multiple times) so to drain money when we were in need, sitting in the car. Luckily we were not pressed by time and asked them to drive us to Arusha city centre from where we could take a Bolt ride. Then - again - then doubled the price and we had to bargain with stone cold look to get reasonable amount.
Another disappointment was the food. When we arrived at 8pm we received information that the dinner should have been booked. But they will cook something quick for us. Waited more than a hour to receive the most tasteless food we had in months. But as we had to fill the stomach we had half of it. Managers charged us $10 each for that, not worth it, but also not overpriced.
You have to order the breakfast the evening before for desired hour so they have time to prepare. No problem with that. But first breakfast I received toasts covered with mould. Neither the "chef" (big overstatement) nor the waiter realised that before handing it to me? Pity that such a beautiful place with potential made us want to go home as soon as possible.
Wi-Fi was coming and going even next to the router. We were walking around to find the best quality and used out data in the end.
