As a solo traveler this place made me feel safe, the staff was friendly and helpful and I love the common area and really love that the location is near public transportation, the beach, restaurants, shopping and other attractions! I would definitely recommend it to solo travelers.

Had an unforgettable stay at Waikiki Beachside Hostel. I met so many amazing people here that I honestly never would have met if I stayed somewhere else. The free pancakes every morning were awesome, the outdoor lounge area was the perfect place to hang out, and the rooms were always clean. I also loved all the beach gear you could rent.
What really made this trip special were the people. I ended up hanging out with 6 different people in two groups of 3 for almost 2 weeks. We did drives to the North Shore, fishing trips, watched sunsets with pizza on the beach, and made memories I’ll never forget. This hostel turned a vacation into a real experience.
The staff were beyond friendly and helpful and always made me feel safe, welcome, and relaxed during my stay. You can tell they genuinely care about the people staying there. I already can’t wait to come back.
