Magical place to stsy

Absolutely gorgeous cottage in a very special location. Our children had a wonderful time here and the cottage is a very high standard. Could do with a larger couch and coffee table but that is just personal preference. Within a very easy driving distance of the city. Owner very helpful with directions. Great walks and surroundings!

Lovely property but sorry it needs to be deep cleaned

The host was great at giving very precise instructions how to get to the property and key collection. It was a very secluded location so would have been hard to find without his clear instruction. Really good wifi connection otherwise would have struggled with internet signal! The decors are well thought out and basic kitchenware provided and lovely little treats on arrival - which is a nice touch.

Dirty - really dirty and dusty all over, especially the attic room. Wish i have read some of the review previously that pointed this out. Hairs and dust on floor. The bedding had really strong mildews odour. The table had bits of crumb and cheese presume from previous guests. Limescale’s on tap and shower head which was very loose and wonky. The other issue was that the washing machine was located deep in the storeroom which was really not easily accessible and no washing liquid provided too. The bed was not very comfortable too.

Great secluded area but standards could be higher

The location was great, secluded and out the way just enough, which was great as my husband and son have autism

The property was not to a clean standard, cleaner had not been in, the host did say he could get a cleaner out later that day but I would need to come back from my trip to put the key back for the cleaner or leave it for them the next day, I didnt like the key being left so near property with my belongings in it, so had to opt to clean it myself the, freezer wouldn't the close so didn't use it, given it was hot a freezer for ice lollies would have been good, the bathroom door wouldn't close or lock, I had my father in law as well as my 2 teenagers sith me as well as my husband, so lack of privacy was not great, the property has dust which I can accept but there was crumbs and fake eyelashes that I do not wear so can tell it also hadn't been hoovered as well as dusted, wasn't even merited with a clean sponge, , the garden relatively overgrown so didn't want to use it and only cut on day 3 if my 4 day stay and there were to broken down cars also on the property which obviously have the right to be their as its the owners house but didnt look great and wasnt like the pictures advertised.
