Vam arribar-hi per recomanació d’uns amics i va ser tot un encert. La ubicació és espectacular: està apartat de la ciutat de Sa Pa, enmig dels arrossars de Ta Van, amb unes vistes increïbles i molta tranquil·litat. Creiem que és el lloc ideal per conèixer la cara més rural i autèntica de la zona.
La Dinh és una dona valenta, lluitadora i amb una energia molt especial. Ens va explicar la seva història i el projecte que hi ha darrere del homestay: destina una part dels ingressos a ajudar diversos nens i nenes de Ta Van perquè puguin anar a l’escola. Això encara va fer més especial la nostra estada.
L’atenció va ser increïble i ens vam sentir com a casa. La cabana de fusta era preciosa, les vistes espectaculars i el matalàs, un dels més còmodes que hem trobat durant el nostre viatge pel Vietnam. El menjar també era boníssim, tant els esmorzars com els sopars. A més, van preparar diverses activitats i sorpreses, com un taller de rotllets vietnamites i una exhibició de danses tradicionals dels nens i nenes.
També vam contractar el trekking amb ells i l’experiència va anar molt bé. Ho repetiríem mil vegades i, si haguéssim sabut que ens agradaria tant, ens hi hauríem quedat més dies.

The place is on top of a hill so the view from most rooms is spectacular. It is run by Dihn and her family and their service is amazing. Aunties, cousins and friends are doing their best for everyone always with a genuine smile on. Dihn is a powerful young lady offering help to.young girls who wouldn't be able.to go to school if it wasn't for her.
There are different trekking groups coming daily so if you want to relax in the evening for a quiet dinner it is a bit difficult.

We had a wondeful 5 days and nights in Ta Van at Dinh's homestay! Dinh and her family were all very lovely, helpful and super friendly. It was a very cozy place to be, with an amazing view! The breakfast was great with lots of fruits and we had dinner every evening which was also very tasty and freshly made. The walk to the village takes about 30 minutes down the hill, but we loved it to be a bit more in the calm rice field mountains and see the sunrise from up there. We were very happy that we found and chose this place on booking and we can really recommend to spend a couple of days at this lovely happy place! - no matter if you look for retreat or adventure.
