We loved our stay here. The house is newer and the kitchen has everything you could need. The host provides all supplies for roasting smores on a firepit. Many people in the area sell firewood bundles in their yards so it was easy to find wood. The house is at the end of the lane and private and surrounded by trees. A little turtle met us in the driveway when we first pulled up. You can slightly hear cars on the nearby highway but it wasn’t bothersome. We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck. There were a few yard and sand toys provided that were nice to use. We checked out 2 beaches that are only a few minutes away. One has a playground as well. We enjoyed the two restaurants down the road: Lake Michigan Beach Ice Cream and Eatery- delicious ice cream! and Dimaggio’s - good Italian food. The location is also nicely situated between St. Joseph and South Haven so had a chance to visit both areas on our trip. During our visit there was a significant storm and we lost power for a few hours. The host was very communicative when I let her know and she contacted the power company. Flashlights were available to use and we just went into the town of Coloma to eat at the Mexican restaurant. The power was back on soon after. The only issue I had was my pillows weren’t the most comfortable but I usually bring my own with me and had forgotten to this time. I would also suggest a lamp for each bedroom to enjoy reading before bed. Overall really great place and would stay there again!

Shannon is a FIVE STAR HOST! She was quick to respond to all of my questions and needs. Her rental home is a new house, clean and nicely decorated ladies. The home provides all of the appliances you find in your own home. Including dish washer, washer and dryer. It is obvious Shannon has gone to great links to provide her guests with everything they may need, make your stay special and to make her home your home away from home. She provided all the Keurig coffee pods you may need, ingredients for s'mores, microwave popcorn, snack bars, a cabinet full of spices, pods for the dishwasher and washer. What a nice touch. The house has a beautiful covered deck, gas grill and fire pit all in a wooded setting. The house is in a rural, private setting, but a short drive to the beach, local cities and attractions. For us on a golf trip it was a central location for travel to the many great golf courses the area has to offer. I am not very good at at planning trips like this. So thanks Shannon for making planning this trip so much easier! Rent this property for a great vacation! Thanks Shannon.
