We were a family of 8 and had a wonderful stay at Golden Apartments! The location was excellent, within minutes of many of Zagreb’s main attractions. It is right next to Trg Kralja Tomislava and the Main Train Station (Glavni Kolodvor), which made getting around very convenient.
The apartment itself was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Having AC in every room was a huge plus, especially during our stay. We also really appreciated having two full bathrooms and one half bathroom, which was perfect for our large family. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The host was wonderful as well. They responded very quickly to any questions I had and were always helpful and easy to communicate with. The check-in instructions and directions were very clear and made everything simple and stress-free.
Another great benefit was the parking pass they provided, allowing us to park our car without having to pay an additional parking fee.
Just a side note: the building itself is currently going through some remodeling in the hallways. This did not affect our stay, but we wanted to mention it for future guests.
We would highly recommend Golden Apartments, especially for families or larger groups. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back again!

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK - This apartment is going through renovations. We were told a week before we arrived and after our cancelation period had expired. Property is managed and the host is never in direct contact. Management company was quick to respond, but denied all responsibility. There are 4 flights of stairs to apartment and no elevator. The entry way / stairwell is where construction is happening and there are no lights and no handrails. Unsecured wood has been placed on stairs and contractors leave cigarettes (yes cigarettes even though it says no smoking) and garbage which makes for a tripping hazard. It is clear that renovation was going on long before we were informed. That being said the apartment is in a central location and directly across from a beautiful park. It is a large apartment. The beds are comfortable and the living room is a nice option for communal space. The building is clearly older and the ceilings are very high. You can not use the balcony shown due to scaffolding and they photo makes it appear much nicer than it is. One of the bedrooms says it is a full bed, but it a twin with its own bathroom.
I felt deceived. I should have been informed about the conditions well in advance. At the very least the price should have been adjusted to reflect that inconveniences.
