Ascott North Point Hong Kong

This is an excellent place, stayed in studio 1805 for 4 days over the weekend. It was super clean, the entire place is clean and smells great, lobby, reception and hallway, very important as I almost didn't book due to previous bad reviews about cleanliness. Studio contains everything a studio should have washer, mini fridge, counter space, sink etc Has a filter water unit plus a kettle. 2 of each utensil. Note this is not a tourist area and basically shuts down by 8pm. It is a local area with lots of food vendors and places to eat during the day. There is a small 7/11 right across the road that is open 24 Hours. We got in about 1AM and were able to get snacks to eat. New fancy Harbour North mall is about 6 minutes walk, turn left after exit and continue straight along Java Rd. Access to the promenade is right next door simply cross and head to the water, 2 minutes tops . No need to go down to the mall as online will tell you. The metro opens until very late but it is not 2-3 minutes walk, more like 5-6. It has 2 entrances, one which is opposite Harbour North and the other by exit hotel doors and walk across the street, turn left cross the road and turn right, go to the end and turn left, keep going you will see metro sign across the road on your right. Big crossway is there and usually lots of people. It was hard to find our first day. Expect to pay a safety deposit of 1000 Hong Kong dollars either by cask or credit. Fully refundable upon check out after the room is checked. Breakfast is on offer, not much options though. Ascott is ideal if you want to go out to explore, the North Point metro is close to all the other stations and interchanges, plus it will give you the quiet of home when you return. Security is on the ground floor, reception is on first. Note, there is zero night life in this neighborhood but it is still safe to walk at night. You will not find any restaurant open after maybe 10:30PM, so eat dinner outside of the area.

Morning, I was quite impressed and happy with my choice

The room is clean, complete and modern. It comes with a mini-kitchen with fridge, microwave oven and sink. It has a view of the ocean from the window though it is beside residential buildings but still got a view of the sea on sunrise and sunsets.

Curtains didn't close easily. TV occasionally went blank.
