Extremely Disappointing Experience

Extremely Disappointing Experience We booked this property about a month before our trip. We were four friends traveling through Europe and needed accommodation for one night in Zagreb. After a long journey with little to no sleep due to connecting flights, our plan was simple — check in early, rest for a few hours, and then explore the city. I contacted the property before arrival and asked if we could check in earlier than 16:00. They kindly agreed, and we were able to enter around 14:00 — this is the only positive point I can mention. Unfortunately, things went downhill very quickly. The apartment was listed for 4 adults, but the sleeping arrangement was completely unsuitable. It was impossible for two adult men (both over 185 cm and 85+ kg) to sleep on the so-called “sofa bed.” The sofa could not be properly unfolded into a bed, and every time I tried to adjust it, it collapsed. After several attempts, I gave up and tried to rest on it as it was — managing maybe an hour of uncomfortable sleep. I contacted the property immediately to request help — either to fix the sofa, bring an extra bed, or prepare the sleeping area properly (as expected for 4 guests). I spent hours communicating with them — up until 23:30 — but they did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue. Instead, they repeatedly sent instructions on how to open the sofa, as if I had never stayed in a hotel before. In the end, I had to sleep sitting on a chair for several hours (see the photos). After three days of travel and only a few hours of proper sleep, this was extremely disappointing and physically exhausting. To summarize: • Poor location • No real customer service • Completely inadequate sleeping arrangements • Misleading description for 4 guests Avoid at all costs. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve had in Europe.

Excellent location

We had a great stay! We were especially grateful that we could book last minute — everything went smoothly. The location was easy to find, which made our arrival stress-free after a long journey. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The beds were incredibly cozy, and the bathroom was clean and well-kept. It was exactly what we needed to rest and recharge. Highly recommend!

The only downside was the parking information. The instructions provided could have been clearer, and when I reached out to ask for more details, the response came across as unnecessarily ironic, which I didn’t appreciate. A bit more clarity and a friendlier tone would have made the experience perfect.

Rezerwację dokonałem w dniu przyjazdu, w trakcie wielogodzinnej podróży. Na miejscu, po wielokrotnej próbie kontaktu telefonicznego oraz mailowego. Ktoś odpisał że brakuje dowodów osobistych. Trwało to 1,5 godziny aż udało się wejść do lokalu. Masakra
