Cititerminalen, the central train station, is at 5-10 minute walking distance, very convenient when you arrive from the airport by train or bus, as both terminate there.
The receptionist was friendly and very helpful and provided all the necessary information. There is a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing breakfast or heating meals, and two refrigerators for storing food. They also offer complimentary coffee and tea at all times, which is a nice touch.
I really appreciate about the hotel that everything is clean and tidy. The bathrooms are new, and the shower pressure is excellent. There is also a hair-dryer in each bathroom and complimentary shower gel. Rooms are small, as indicated in the description, but the bed is very comfortable, and there are a lockers for a medium-sized backpack. The locker requires a padlock, which is not provided, so bring your own.
Here's a suggestion, not a complaint: due to the small room sizes it would be a huge improvement if there was a designated space -table, bench, laundry room- to deal with the packing and unpacking, as it is difficult to do so in the room.

Great location with 5 min walk to the central station and 10 min walk to the old city. Clean and quiet and perfect if you just need a bed for the night.
Claustrophobic rooms with not enough space to fit a large bag. The hostel is very plain and doesn't have that cozy vibe to it, and I probably wouldn't spend several days here.

The cleanliness in rooms and toilets was excellent and the location was very convenient. I also appreciate the 'no-shoe' policy with sandals.
While the location was good, several aspects of the stay were disappointing. The beds were uncomfortable, and the rooms lacked basic furniture to store clothes or luggages. Furthermore, the website description should be much clearer regarding the facilities.
Regarding hygiene, there is no disinfection system for the shared sandals, which is concerning. Security is also a major issue: since there is no formal check-in/out and door codes are not reset, guests can access the building outside of their booking hours. This actually happened to us on our last day when other guests entered the premises before their stay began. Finally, the luggage storage process felt very insecure. I understand that trust is a cultural value there, but formal security measures are necessary.
