The Yellow Mountain Cabin was built in 1928 by our Great Grandfather. Step back in time and enjoy the whimsy and charm of our craftsman-style cabin while enjoying the modern amenities, including a new King Size bed in the master! Nestled in the woods, enjoy the view, the beautiful antiques, the stained glass windows, and more! Perfect for couples, families, or a friend's retreat! We had the most wonderful weekend staying here! The house is tucked away in a beautiful, serene setting that felt incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We especially loved the little creek in the back yard it added so much charm to the property. The horses and donkeys across the street were an added bonus! The location was perfect, conveniently situated between Cashiers and Highlands, making it easy to explore both areas while still enjoying a quiet mountain retreat.Overall, this was one of our favorite trips, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend it and would absolutely love to return!

The cabin was great. Location was ideal for us as we had a wedding to attend in Glenville. It was easy access to hiking in the area and it was perfect for us and our dog. We would definitely rent again.

Great place to enjoy a quiet and comfortable family getaway. Kids (12, 10, and 5) loved having the creek and horses across the street. Perfect cabin to relax in and great location to enjoy Cashiers and the Highlands if you want to venture out.

The property is a bit too rustic. One set of the stairs on the front porch are slippery and unsafe. The house is cute and well furnished. I didn’t realize the stairs inside would be so narrow and the upstairs rooms so small. The bathrooms are tiny.My biggest problem: ants. Big ants. I told the host and nothing was done for my 3 night stay. There were other problems too. I wouldn’t recommend this property.
