Villa Bahati is an incredible place to stay. I loved the staff, the resort was extremely well maintained, I truly felt at home. Receiving delicious fruit every morning, the yoga space. Most importantly that the owner is socially conscious and seeks to support the local community … I could write an essay on what I loved. I would definitely come back as if I were to spend money anywhere it would be in support of a Good, well intentioned business
Minor things but
1. I think drinking water should be provided free throughout the stay or at least a larger complimentary quantity per room
2. A way to order food from the hotel room should be provided
3. A few more options on the menu especially for guests that are staying longer
4. Adding home made masala tea with milk and hot chocolate to the menu (apparently common on mainland but not in Zanzibar ! Even though it’s delicious
5. More care when doing the laundry as some whites were washed with darks, and the clothes were delivered slightly wet
