I’m just going to rate it for being beautiful, directions being accurate and finding it clean when we arrived. 4/10

The place is very beautiful, but we struggled so much with the owner of that place. She has an agent, and that agent is the one that we paid the breakage fee to. A fee of R3000 there’s a day when we went out and came back, we found our lights on, I then took a picture and sent it to the cleaner that came there everyday expect Sunday to look at us and to see if we were behaving I guess … but yes she told us that its a neighbour that came to the house to switch on our lights. But now that scared us to find out that the neighbour has access to the house, so we found it very uncomfortable, I don’t know what is going on with that accommodation but something weird is happening, but also the email we got from the agent she uses speaks about her having a person that helps with maintenance that is called Andrew, according to the info we got Andrew left a while ago and does not work there anymore, so she got the neighbour to assist with all our issues that we had e.g power outages 4 times on the day we arrived and this neighbour came each time to find out the issue and try fix it. Gas ran out from the kitchen and outside , the cleaner forgot to check if the bottles had gas. we did not enjoy that part coz we ate almost raw meat 😭, though the house is beautiful, I repeat the management is bad, the cameras everywhere are really disturbing , we had zero privacy.

Cleaning the house for ourselves after paying so much money for the accomodation not by choice but because we were threatened that if we don’t then we won’t get R3000 from our breakage fee back . The pool turned green on the second day of us being there which was Friday evening, we were told by the neighbour that it can’t be fixed because he put too much hth(weird). Before we checked out on Sunday we had to make our beds and clean the house and kitchen. 💔

Bad experience

The house is beautiful, cozy and clean.

1. The location on the website is misleading. The property is not situated in Hazyview. Please book at your own risk. On the 1st day we had to book a guesthouse in Hazyview because the place is in Komatipoort. No apology from the managing agent. She was very rude. 2. No swimming pool as advertised and no TV. We had to pay 150 per person to access swimming facilities at a nearby property. 3. We struggled with tissue paper and shops are far. 4. There are no points of interest in the vicinity of the property.
