The property is attractive, large and very well equipped. It is situated in a convenient location, just a short bus ride from the centre of Florence. It also is located near a fabulous and huge supermarket.
The hosts were welcoming and even picked us up from the airport. Every night, they brought us a lovely Italian drink and one night, the most exquisite cakes. We were really touched by their kindness during our stay.
We would recommend Il Portico Di Margherita to anyone visiting Florence.

The location was perfect for us - the public transport was really accessible from the house (less than 5 minutes walk from the house to the bus stop)
We visited Florence multiple times by bus, as well as Siena (no need for a car) and enjoyed delicious meals in the village. The excellent, very large and well-stocked supermarket was really convenient, just next to the bus stop. The property was beautiful - the pool was exceptionally clean and very welcome to cool us down in the evenings. Our hosts were unbelievably kind, generous and friendly - they helped to make our family holiday really special. Thanks so much for everything Margherita and Enrico! You are wonderful! We would thoroughly recommend a holiday here.
