The motel was very clean and well kept up. The beds were comfortable. There was fresh paint on the door jam (that I ran into). I was overall very pleased compared to the expectations I had had due to staying in a similar motel a couple of years ago. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying there. There was no one on staff at the time we got there, but you had a phone number you called to give them your information. I really enjoyed one of their rules - no cleaning fish in the room. As we were not fishing, it wasn't a problem. lol

Very clean and easily accessible.
Close to amenities in town.
Basketball hoop in parking lot made us a little concerned about possible damage to our car in the vicinity of kids playing.

Location was great.
Please consider some blinds, shades or thicker curtains. The current sheer ones don't provide much privacy, much less block any light.
