We ontmoetten de host niet in levenden lijve, maar de communicatie (terwijl we al zes dagen elders in Italië vertoefden) verliep prima, met duidelijke instructies voor de toegang tot het appartement. Dit bevindt zich in een betrekkelijk rustige straat en geeft uit op een heel nette binnenkoer, vandaar geen enkele hinder van straatlawaai.
Het appartement oogt fris en jong, en door de levendige kleuren van muren en meubels zelfs hip. Het is voorzien van zowat alles wat in een huishouden van pas kan komen. Uitstekende airconditioning.
Het verblijf ligt op een kleine 10 minuten gaans van metrostation Coni Zugna, dat pas in het najaar van 2024 in gebruik werd genomen en daarom nog niet in alle toeristische gidsen en reisbrochures als dusdanig wordt vermeld, maar dat uitstekende verbindingen faciliteert met de binnenstad én zelfs rechtstreeks met de luchthaven Linate.
Via Savona 20 paalt aan een bakkerij; ook verderop in de straat zijn verscheidene winkeltjes, eethuizen en drankgelegenheden te vinden, deze laatste met een overwegend jong publiek. Het is een korte wandeling naar de uitgaansbuurt van de Naviglio Grande, en ook in de omgeving van het station Porta Genova zijn uitstekende restaurantjes te vinden.
Ik hoop ooit opnieuw in Navigli - Savone - Bilocale comfort te kunnen logeren, want eigenlijk hadden we een paar dagen te weinig ingeschat voor Milaan.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and located in a very nice and quiet area. It is fully equipped with everything you might need, whether for a short or a longer stay. The furniture is new, the space is well-organized without unnecessary items, and everything is perfectly clean.
The location is very convenient – there is a bakery, restaurants, cafés right on the same street. Public transport is easily accessible, with both metro and tram stations nearby. However, it is also very pleasant to walk to the city center, which takes about 30 minutes. The apartment is also conveniently located near the Navigli district-a beautiful canal area with one of the most stunning sunsets.
The host was extremely kind, helpful, and communicative, and provided very useful information during our stay. The contactless check-in process was simple and very convenient, which was especially important for us as we arrived quite late.
Overall, a wonderful experience – we would definitely stay here again!
If you are tall, please be careful through the gate at the courtyard entrance, as you might hit your head on the wooden gate.
