The house was perfect for the gathering of siblings who were all raised in Rapid. 3 who have not lived there for many years. Yet, always drawn to Rapid and the Black Hills and family. The family home was sold after our parents passed and we were looking for a comfortable place to stay and the two local sibs could visit. The fact that the house is pet friendly is the icing on the cake.The house was clean and spacious with modern conveniences but also the charm of a well maintained, well built older home. The location and grounds are so beautiful. Right next to Rapid Creek. Very quiet and a draw for wildlife, including deer, squirrels, and many kinds of birds, including a Great Blue Heron we enjoyed seeing daily. Beautiful, lush trees and foliage. Kristie is an excellent host! Welcoming, friendly and responsive. We definitely want to stay here again.

Super cute home in very accessible location!!! Loved staying here for SDMST graduation! Lots of room! Larger than I expected!!!! This was the cleanest property I’ve ever been in! Not sure how they do it!!! Setting id beautiful, creekside fishing, quie and comfortable Would definitely stay again!

This is in a great location for wanting to be in the forest and still close to Rapid. Will be staying here again when we need a place. We need a place that is pet friendly and this was amazing and safe for our 2 cats.
