Absolutely beautiful property - very clean. All beds comfortable. Great views, great location. Kitchen well stocked. I have nothing negative to say about the property itself.
2 minor things - one major. Minor dislikes were that the pool is not a "swimming pool." It's very shallow and more of a sit around in the pool. Also, while we did not mind the stairs, if you're not good with stairs, there are a lot of stairs in the property. Just be aware.
The major negative are the residents. Please be aware that we are very kind and respectful people. The residents criticized our group, twice. And not nicely. The issues were about parking - which we parked one car in the garage and one car outside the garage - well within our "space." The residents were not nice and very argumentative, which we are nice and not argumentative. I would be remiss if I did not say that we would not stay here again, as the residents made us feel very unwelcome. I feel like they would criticize anyone for very minor things. This detracted from our stay and really made us unhappy. I feel like they would criticize loud children, or any other minor issue. It was really a case of bad neighbors. With that said, if that would not bother you, this is an awesome property, and in truth, I'm sad we will not stay here again. We love Islamorada and have been coming here for years. We have never experienced anything quite like this.
