Location, food, spacious room, quiet, nice views of the mountains and lake, well insulated.
The bathroom freshener smell was too strong.

We really liked staying here. It was warm and comfortable, our room was spacious with a great view of Pangong Tso There is hot water 24/7, Dinner was excellent with healthy vegetarian dishes - home cooking at its best. Staff/owner looked after us well.

Location of the hotel in the village of Mann was enjoyable. Within walking distance to Pangong lake, the surroundings were quiet and uncrowded. The breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared, with the hosts eager to refill time and again.
We were surprised that there is no power in the area in the night - no one forewarned us, and we were taken aback. Generators were not switched on as well. We were told later on that this was to keep pollution in check in remote areas (don't know if that is true though). There was no one from the host side available at the property at night - no means of contacting anyone if anything untoward happened at that time (we were relying on wi-fi; no power, no wi-fi) - we were on our own. We felt a little let down and short-changed. Perhaps this is how it is in these remote areas...
