Rooms are clean, have a full-sized fridge and the TVs in them are big!
All shared facilities (Kitchen, Bathroom and Showers) were clean!
Loads of Kitchens shared between rooms means at least one is likely to be free for cooking!
Rooms open with codes rather than key cards / keys, so no need to worry about losing the key to the room.
It is located ~10 minute away from an Aldi for cheap food and groceries.
Value for money is REALLY good in my opinion.
Rooms have no AC - meaning in hot days, you'll struggle to keep cool. Although a fan is provided, it does not make that big of a difference in my opinion.
Location is in an odd spot. For example, to get to Koelnmesse (Cologne Fair) by public transport, there is no direct bus / tram / train. Every route has at least one switch or a ~25 minute walk on either end.
There is no reception staff - you get a passcode for your room through an email and that's it. Makes it weird to ask questions.
Soundproofing is mixed. Could not hear my neighbours but could hear everything happening in the hallway. My room was unfortunately in front of the shared shower rooms, so we could hear people going to take showers throughout the night.
No shower gel / shampoo is provided. While Aldi is close enough to get some for very cheap, having to go through the effort to do so after a long day of travelling is annoying.

Das ursprüngliche Zimmer war nicht aufgeräumt und noch komplett dreckig. Es hat etwas gedauert bis ich eine Telefonnummer vom Service gefunden hatte. Nachdem ich telefonisch die Situation geschildert habe habe ich relativ zügig ein eues zimmer bekommen. Die Mitarbeiterin am Telefon war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Die Betten waren erstaunlich gemütlich, dafür das es eine recht einfache Unterkunft ist. Der Kühlschrank war für drei Personen groß genug. Die Toilette und Duschen wurden gut sauber gehalten von der Reinigungskraft.
Die Unterkunft ist super, wenn man z.b. zum Summerjam will. Man fährt ca. 15 min. Mit dem Uber dort hin.

If you expect a peaceful night sleep, don’t go there. The rooms have no soundproofing and it was too loud from the vehicles and also people talking and using the kitchen even after midnight(even though there’s a quiet hours after 22.00). The kitchen smelled too bad, couldn’t even stay there for a few minutes and the sink was full of dirty dishes.
