great location, helpful staff (they can book stuff for you such as the river cruise), nice big bed, automatic curtains is a nice touch
a little hard to find (the hotel is only the 5th floor of a building). the shower temperature was inconsistent (scalding hot to icey cold in 4 seconds) whenever someone else uses the tap, toilet or shower. other than that absolutely nothing bad to say!

Merica Hotel Chongqing – Great Location & Comfortable Stay
We had a very pleasant stay at Merica Hotel Chongqing. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore Chongqing and get around the city.
The room was comfortable and suitable for a good rest after a long day of sightseeing. One of the best features was the washer and dryer, which was very convenient for doing laundry during our trip.
The hotel also has an elevator, making it easy to bring up luggage.
Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel with a great location. I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Chongqing.

Location is convenient, walking distance to jiefangbei. Like the laundry facility. Friendly staff and very helpful.
The washroom not clean very well, no coffee proceed. no window and the glass is dirty , can’t see clearly through window. Only 2 elevator, slow and have to wait long sometimes. Can hear traffic
From outside sometimes.
