What an incredible stay. If you don’t like early mornings or scheduled planned times I’m not sure this is the right place for you. We were woken up at 7:30 am to be told our sauna was heated and ready for use. I didn’t mind this at all. The dinner was lovely, the rooms were traditional and clean and the sauna and cold plunge were exactly what we needed. There was a big language barrier, but with the help of google translate this didn’t affect the stay. Attention to detail was of upmost importance. The warm bath in the changing rooms were run for after our saunas, slider shoes changed when left outside the rooms and fresh drinks provided when needed. The marshmallows for by the camp fire were a lovely touch and really made for a perfect night under the vast starry sky. This country side location was everything you could want, but yes was very structured so if structure and early mornings isn’t your thing this isn’t the place for you.
I wasn’t aware of the early morning wake up for the sauna that had been prepared. We set alarms but didn’t realise we were wanted down stairs at a particular time.
