Location is good and nice. Pongwe is a calm beach with nice view of the sea. Villa is really on the sea shore. Swimming pool is small but clean. It's nice to look at the sea but one cannot swim in the sea because it is too shallow even at high tide.

The thing which irritated us the most was the constant presence of other people in the villa. There were sometimes 5 servants in the villa: kitchen chef, his wife, translator, manager, room cleaner, swimming pool cleaner, and kind of a manager. Some people less visible that the other, and some people were idle most of the time, disturbing us, for example watching football on TV in the living room. We wanted privacy and DID NOT NEED SERVANTS. Because of that there were some tensions between us. The breakfast was rather average. They offer to choose one sort out of 4 sorts of eggs: scrambled, boiled, omelette and fried. We tried only scrambled and omelette and they were tasteless. We could do better. Just plane omelette or scrambled egg without anything, no any additives, vegetables or anything. Apart from that there was not much to eat: no vegetables or fruits, cheese, ham or something not sweet. There were pancakes and doughnuts with Nutella, but they were too sweet. We are adult people, we do not eat so sweet. After two days we asked to replace pancakes and doughnuts with fruits and vegetables. We got papayas, some tomatoes in the mornings but we bought fruits ourselves. I would say that WE HAVE BEEN HAPPIER IF WE HAD PREPARED THE BREAKFAST OURSELVES. When we go to warm country we always expect to get local fruits and vegetables. What we got was one tasteless tomato for 5 persons. The laundry is paid. That would be fine, but funny thing is that they want to count every sock and slips and charge 2 USD per piece. We gave 13 EUR and asked to have mercy on us and not to count every dirty piece. Generally, the people are nice and would do anything ... for money + tips but we do not need strangers and servants no matter how nice they are. The description of villa is not accurate. We would have never chosen it if we had known about constant presence of servants.
