Everything! Luxury stay with exceptional hospitality shown by all staff. Breakfast was bountiful with a wide selection of items. The dining locations offered plenty of location was absolutely perfect

Modern clean Hotel with excellent facilities great staff. Good location. Sound insulation good and A\C silently efficient. Breakfast were exceptional good.

I felt hotel transfer was expensive.

It’s a beautiful hotel with a really impressive overall feel. The interiors are polished and elegant, although creatively the design does feel somewhat generic and lacks a distinctive point of view. It has a familiar aesthetic that I feel I’ve seen many times before, but it is nevertheless very beautiful and well presented. The rooms are spacious, which is particularly important to me. I’ve stayed in two different room categories here, and even the smaller category still felt quite generous in size and very comfortable. The breakfast was also great, with a good variety of options and a really pleasant setting. The restaurant itself is spacious and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes for a lovely breakfast atmosphere. The rooftop pool area was nice, and I also appreciated having a choice of restaurants within the hotel, which adds to the overall convenience of the stay. In terms of location, while the hotel isn’t directly beachfront, the beach is only a short walk away and there is a pleasant promenade along the waterfront with plenty of restaurants and dining options nearby. The beach itself is fairly underwhelming and nothing particularly special compared with some of the other swimming spots and beach clubs you can find around Dubrovnik, but having the waterfront and so many restaurants within easy walking distance is definitely convenient.

One thing worth mentioning is that the sea view rooms don’t necessarily offer the kind of uninterrupted ocean view you might expect when paying extra for that category. While you can certainly see the sea from the higher floors, the hotel isn’t directly beachfront, so the view also takes in a large neighbouring hotel, the hillside and surrounding houses, as well as the hotel car park directly below. The hillside and houses are actually quite beautiful, but overall there is a lot happening visually between you and the ocean. It’s a relatively minor point, but something worth keeping in mind if the sea view is a major reason for choosing a more expensive room category. The other disappointment was the inconsistency in service. The reception staff were lovely, as were the waiters and waitresses I interacted with. However, some of the staff working around breakfast, particularly at the omelette station and those clearing and resetting tables, could be surprisingly dry and at times came across as quite rude or unwelcoming. I stayed for around a week, so unfortunately this wasn’t based on a single interaction or an off day. It was something I noticed repeatedly throughout my stay. It’s a shame because the breakfast itself is very good and the setting is beautiful, but a warmer and more hospitable approach from some members of the team would make a significant difference to the overall experience. The gym was another area that I felt could be significantly improved. The space itself is excellent: very spacious, beautifully presented and with good quality equipment. However, the variety of equipment is surprisingly limited, particularly considering how much space is available. It almost feels as though the gym has been designed to accommodate only one or two people training at a time. Once a few guests are using it, you can easily find yourself waiting for the limited equipment available.
