La Gelsomina was, without question, one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed.
From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a dream. The property is incredibly peaceful, quiet, and secluded.... a true escape from the world. Surrounded by the countryside, it offers a level of tranquility that is hard to put into words. It honestly didn't even feel real at times.
The accommodations were stunning. Calling them "rooms" doesn't do them justice because they felt more like private villas. They were incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable.
The service was equally outstanding. The staff were some of the friendliest and most welcoming people we encountered during our trip. Everyone was always eager to help, answer questions, and make sure we had everything we needed. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.
We also loved returning each day to spotless rooms, fresh towels, and everything perfectly refreshed by housekeeping. Those little touches made the experience feel even more luxurious.
The complimentary breakfast was incredible, with so many fresh and delicious options that we looked forward to it every day. It was the perfect way to start each morning and another example of the care and quality that La Gelsomina puts into every aspect of the guest experience.
It was the kind of place you never want to leave. A perfect experience from beginning to end.

Amazing location on side of a mountain, looking out at the sea and the vinyard!! The buffet breakfast was filled with meats, cheeses, salmon, fruit and pastries. Delicious start to the day! The wines were also smooth and full-bodied. 10 stars!!! The view of Etna as you drive down the mountain is stunning! Staff was kind and helpful. Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodations.

This hotel is even better then it looks on the photos! Amazing environment and views. The wine tasting was good but I felt like it had room for improvements, like the option of doing it outside with a view or a tour of the gardens.
Staff was friendly and they had a little shop.
