Welcome to Creekside Cottage, a charming 2-bedroom home offering a blend of comfort, proximity, and nature! Conveniently located on Asheville Highway, only 1 mile from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, 4.4 miles from the heart of downtown Brevard, and less than 15 minutes to Dupont Road, this cozy getaway is nestled beside a rushing creek and is an ideal home base for hikers, cyclists, small families, and lovers of nature and waterfalls. This creekside gem offers ample parking for multiple cars and a large private garage for safely storing your cars, bikes, kayaks, or other toys. Also, with a whole-house water filter, you'll get filtered water for drinking, cooking, bathing, washing dishes, laundry, and more. It's clean, safe water at every tap in the home!
Once inside this single-story home, you will find that Creekside Cottage is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The living area features cozy seating (including a twin sleeper sofa), a large television, and gas fireplace, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for relaxing with family or friends. The well-appointed kitchen features a large window, offering views of the creek and hopefully sightings of the family of white squirrels living in the back yard! Modern appliances and everything needed to prepare meals with ease is provided, while the dining area is perfect for enjoying your meals together. A sizable laundry room is located just off the kitchen.
Both bedrooms are thoughtfully designed for a restful sleep, with king-sized beds, comfortable bedding, cozy decor, and sound machines. The master bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom for added privacy and convenience. The second bathroom is easily accessible from the living area and the second bedroom, ensuring comfort for all guests.
Step outside to the backyard, where you can enjoy the soothing waters of the creek, sip your morning coffee, splash in the creek, or unwind with a glass of wine at the end of the day. Our family of three adults had a great long weekend stay. The home was very clean, well-kept, and exactly as described, with a large, comfortable bed. It’s an excellent base for exploring Pisgah National Forest—about 5 minutes to the visitor center, with easy access to trails and waterfalls, and a short drive to downtown Brevard for dining and shops.The cottage is on a main road, but there’s minimal noise inside. There are no views from the house, but the proximity to the park makes up for it. The kitchen is well stocked, internet is fast, and communication was clear with a helpful area guide before check-in. Keep an eye out for white squirrels in the backyard. We would happily stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was nice with being close to so much but lots of road noise. However inside the house it wasn’t bad. We had bought a bottle of wine and couldn’t find a wine opener. Wine glasses would have been nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second time to stay at Creekside Cottage and had a chance to enjoy the beautiful property a bit more since it was warmer! The fire pit and lounge chairs are a nice touch by the creek. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings by the fire after long days of fun and adventure. The fire flies dancing around as the sun went down was a bonus! We love the location with everything from restaurants, groceries, downtown Brevard and hiking in Pisgah National Forest being just minutes away. Creekside Cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need to make your trip feel effortless and special. Can’t wait to go back!
